중국 미국 호주 등 외국 바이오 기업들이 잇달아 국내 증시 상장에 나선다. 코스닥에 상장된 셀트리온 등 바이오 기업들이 전 세계 주요 증시에서 가장 비싼 몸값을 받고 있다는 점에 매력을 느낀 외국 기업들이 자국 증시 대신 한국 증시로 발길을 돌리기 시작한 것이다.
9일 금융투자업계와 한국거래소에 따르면 중국 바이오 기업인 TIB(트리플엑스 인터내셔널 바이오사이언스), 푸젠진카오바이오그룹, 그린소스인터내셔널 등 3곳이 연내 코스닥 시장에 상장할 예정이다. 이 가운데 유방암 진단키트를 만드는 TIB는 2014년 695억원 매출을 올린 중견기업이다. 3곳 모두 모두 신한금융투자가 상장 주간사를 맡고 있다. 그동안 국내에 상장된 외국 바이오 기업은 2013년 5월 코스닥에 입성한 미국 엑세스바이오가 유일했다. 하지만 엑세스바이오는 미국 뉴저지주를 근거로 재미동포가 설립한 한상 기업이어서 순수 외국 기업으로 보기 어려웠다. 미국 의료기기 전문업체인 KPI헬스케어도 지난달 15일 미래에셋증권과 상장 대표주간사 계약을 맺었다.
